Studio City was thrilled to team up with DreamWorks Animation on a series of social pieces for their new film, “The Bad Guys 2”.

Studio City won its 4th CLIO Award for Digital, Mobile & Social Media for our collaboration with DreamWorks on our "Super Theme Song" spot featuring the remarkable musical talents of Craig Robinson. The award-winning creative Studio City crafted was a scroll-stopping super spy serenade that managed to cut through the noise on socials and bring attention to the client's film.

For the “Super Theme Song”, we wrote and produced an original musical ode to The Bad Guys, brought to life by the wildly talented Craig Robinson. What started as a few cheeky lyrics evolved into a full-blown song and music video that became one of the film’s top-performing promotions.

We gave “Red Flag, Green Flag” a creative twist: no flags here. We used rugs to represent the cast’s choices, sparking lively debates and hilarious attempts to recruit teammates to their side. The result? Playful, unscripted chemistry that made fans fall in love with the cast all over again.

In our two Trivia Challenges, things got competitive fast. With a fuzzy guinea pig as the buzzer, the cast raced to answer tough questions, trading taunts, laughs, and helping hands. In these pieces their real-life friendship shines through, giving audiences a taste of just how fun this movie—and this cast—really is.

We were honored to work with so many funny people and give them the set ups and environment to laugh, play and be themselves.
